Who We Are |
The idea with this group is to work on projects that inspire us, irregardless of how commercial an idea might be. Our films can work on several levels, but are always designed to engage the viewer to think and take on a more active role. We're not afraid to make films about serious topics, nor are we afraid to look at these topics in lighthearted ways.
Our HistoryBefore it's creation in 2013, founder Paul R. Despins began making short films as part of the 48hrs Short film contest, the 39hrs Short film Contestival, and Cinema Sports competitions.
Recognizing a need to create a team of skilled cast & crew in order to create top quality short films for competition, Paul created Working Class Zombies, bringing skilled filmmakers - both local and international - from everywhere to compete in film competitions. Since then, the collective has achieved much success by winning several awards and nominations, and having it's films appear in multiple film festivals around the world. contact: [email protected] |
