Produced for the 2015 Tainan 39hr Short Film Contestival
Running Time: 6min 40sec
Genre: Drama
The concept behind this film was truly a group effort. The original team came together to discuss story ideas for the competition, and this is the one that generated the most passion, excitement, and ideas among those present at that meeting. We all liked the theme of the idea and felt that it had an important message to communicate.
True to form for WCZs, this film once again challenges the viewers to be active in their viewing. The challenge here was to tell the story in way that set up expectations from the audience but wasn't too bluntly obvious about it's theme.
Since it's showing at the Tainan 39hrs, the film has been re-edited into a longer, friendlier festival version of the original movie. New music, sound, and color grading have been added in order to enhance the mood of the story.
